Prescriber Highlights

  • An NSAID used primarily in dogs
  • Used with caution in geriatric patients or patients with chronic disease (eg, liver or kidney disease, GI disease)
  • Most common side effect is GI upset; GI ulceration and liver and kidney failure may occur, although rarely 
  • Monitoring of liver and kidney values is recommended
