Amanda A. Cavanagh, DVM, DACVECC, Colorado State University
Amanda A. Cavanagh, DVM, DACVECC, is a clinical faculty instructor of small animal emergency and critical care at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her DVM from Auburn University and acquired ACVECC board-certification in 2015 after completing a residency at North Carolina State University. Amanda’s special interests include traumatology, extracorporeal therapies, and fluid resuscitation.
FUN FACT: Amanda enjoys snowboarding, climbing Colorado mountains, and running—occasionally away from rattlesnakes and mountain lions. Her goal is to climb all of Colorado’s mountains with summits above 14 000 feet over the next decade.
